CHICAGO (WLS) — Blue Line CTA services have resumed with a delay after a suspicious package was found at the Taman Hutan stop, prompting an evacuation.

Forest Park Station was evacuated for police investigation. At 4:15 p.m., no one was allowed in or out of the station.

Officials said a CTA employee found a suspicious package on the train and placed it on the platform at Forest Park. It was finally determined to be food.

Services were suspended between Forest Park and UIC-Halsted until approximately 4:30 p.m., at which time some services resumed.

Blue Line riders should expect delays as service returns to normal.
