Bulls release 2023-24 NBA preseason schedule, and it's 'Mile High'

The measuring stick will come out early for the Bulls.

The team announced its preseason schedule on Monday, and while all five games are against playoff contenders, two of them will be against the team that lifted the Larry O'Brien Trophy last month.

The Bulls will open in Milwaukee on October 9, and will then play home-field with the 2022-23 NBA Champion Nuggets.

Denver comes to the United Center on October 12, and then the Bulls head to “Mile High City” on October 15.

The team will then close out the pre-season with two home games, hosting the Toronto Raptors on October 17, and the Minnesota Timberwolves on October 19.

Preliminary test? Of course, considering that Milwaukee and Denver finished first in the Eastern and Western Conferences respectively. The Bulls had a play-in battle against Toronto last season, knocking them out of postseason play, while the Timberwolves saw postseason play as the No. 1 seed.

NOTES: Bulls guard Javon Freeman-Liberty impressed enough in the Las Vegas Summer League to be named Second Team All-Summer League.

Freeman-Liberty joins Max Christie (Lakers), Emoni Bates (Cavaliers), Jabari Smith Jr. (Rockets) and Jalen Wilson (Nets).
