CHICAGO (WLS) — A woman was seriously injured trying to flee a shooting on Chicago's South Side on Saturday morning, police said.
The shooting occurred in the 12400 block of South Halsted Street in the West Pullman neighborhood at around 12:30 p.m., police said. A 19-year-old woman was walking down the sidewalk when a blue Dodge Charger pulled up, and someone inside opened fire.

Police said the victim, who was shot in the head, ran to a nearby business, where he passed out. The Chicago Fire Department rushed him to Christ's Advocate Hospital in critical condition.
No one has been arrested and Area Two detectives are investigating. Police did not immediately provide further information about the shooting.
