ANTIOKH IS NOT INCLUDED, Ill. (WLS) — The body was found Monday afternoon in search of a man who apparently jumped into Lake Catherine on Saturday afternoon in unincorporated Antioch.

Lake County Sheriff's Marine Unit Deputy was sent to the lake at approximately 3:50 p.m. Saturday to a report of a 52-year-old Mount Prospect man who jumped into the water and did not resurface.

According to police, the man was on a pontoon boat operated by his adult son.

He reappeared briefly but then fell below the surface of the water, and he was not seen again, police said.

The water depth in the search area is about 30 feet, according to police.
