Earth Day Cleanup – Cook County Forest Conservancy
Earth Day events will take place in several of the Cook County Protected Forests, including the removal of weeds at the Sagawau Center for Environmental Learning on Friday. For more information, visit fpdcc. com.
A Party for the Planet – Brookfield Zoo
Party for the Planet is back at Brookfield Zoo with 2 events this weekend! Recycling takes place today from 9 to 2 in the main car park. Check their website for all acceptable items. Then on Sunday the 2.2 mile easy run begins at 8 a.m. The results benefit animal care and conservation.
Great American Open – Gurnee

Pixar Putt – Navy Pier
Pixar Putt is returning to Navy Pier! From tomorrow through September 10, this pop-up mini-golf experience will feature 18 interactive holes featuring characters from some of Disney and Pixar's most beloved films, such as Toy Story, The Incredibles, Coco, and more!

Chicago Rum Fest – Logan Field Auditorium

Night Nation Run – Army Field

Rhythms of Resistance – Auditorium Theatre
At the dance beat, three percussion dance troupes will celebrate American tap dance and Irish step in a one-off performance! Rhythms of Resistance will be held at the Auditorium Theater on Saturdays at 19:30.
Joffrey Ballet, The Little Mermaid – Opera House Lyrics
The Joffrey Ballet concludes its season with the long-awaited Chicago premiere of The Little Mermaid, now playing at the Lyric Opera House. This beautifully haunting interpretation of tragic folklore is Joffrey's greatest production yet. It lasts until April 30th.
