Shootings in Chicago: 3 shots in River North in State, Hubbard Street, police say

CHICAGO (WLS) — Three people were shot in River North Sunday morning, Chicago police said.

Police said three men, ages 22, 26 and 32, were standing on the first block of West Hubbard Street when they came under gunfire while two vehicles were exchanging fire. .

The 22-year-old man was shot several times and taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in critical condition, police said.

The 26-year-old man was shot several times and taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in critical condition.

The 32-year-old victim was shot twice in the left arm and was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in stable condition.

Police said the victims were not the intended target of the shooting.

State and Hubbard roads were closed as police investigated and have since reopened.

Area Three detectives are investigating and no one has been arrested.
