OAK PARK, Sick (WLS) — Four people were shot during a funeral procession in the western suburbs on Saturday afternoon, police said.
Police said the shooting took place in Oak Park on the 900 block of Madison Street.

Members of the procession are believed to have been the targets of the shootings, police said. The observer was not injured.
Those who witnessed the incident said the scene was chaotic, and described seeing several victims being taken away to get medical help.
One father said he and his son were inside the music school on the block where the shooting occurred.

“We were talking to people at my son's music lessons, and all of a sudden, we heard what sounded like a snare drum. It was like a rhythmic sound and (instructor) like, ‘we don't have drum lessons scheduled for today.'” says Jaime Rava.
Madison Street was closed off in both directions near the set. Officials did not say when the road would reopen.
Police did not immediately provide further information about the shooting.
